RECREATIONAL SOCCER FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
On what team will my child play?
Players are placed on teams in age-grouped divisions playing on coed teams U5 (Spring)/U6 (Fall) through U19 and, if desired, on all-girls teams U8 through U18. (All players play on coed teams until U8.) Click here
to find your child’s age group and divisional Commissioner. All returning players from the Fall season will automatically be placed on the same team in the Spring unless a change is requested under "Special Request" on the online registration form. Note: the "Choose Team" option does not apply to recreational players.
Are scholarships available?
If your child needs financial assistance in order to play, when registering online, answer "Yes" to the question "Need a scholarship?". At the end of the application, click the button "Pay by personal check - OR - by clicking here I am requesting a scholarship." No minimum payment is required for recreational players; however, in an effort to provide as many scholarships as possible, and to maintain playing fields in the District, please consider making a donation in any amount.
How do I get help with online registration?
If you experience difficulties with the online registration, contact the Registrar at Registrar@stoddert.com
or at 202-603-5372 (Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). The Registrar cannot help with team placement, practice schedules, field locations and directions, uniforms, etc. These are questions for your divisional Commissioner.
When do I pay my registration fees?
All registration fees are due at the time of registration. If you can’t pay promptly, your registration will be held as pending; however, your child cannot be placed on a team until the fee has been paid.
When and where are games and practices?
As soon as game schedues are set, they will be posted. Please check back. Click here
for directions to all playing fields.
