Ball Size by Age Group and Required Equipment

In order to participate in recreational games, a player must wear a Stoddert-supplied jersey, shin guards, and appropriate shoes. Shoes can be either soccer cleats or running shoes. In order to participate in practice, a player must wear shin guards and appropriate shoes. Every player is encouraged to have his own ball, and to bring water and sunscreen to games and practices.

At the beginning of the fall season every player is issued a uniform consisting of a jersey, shorts and socks. Players are expected to use the uniform for the fall and spring season. Players who did not play in the fall are issued a uniform at the start of the spring season.

For Pre-K players the uniform is just a jersey.

Twice a year Stoddert runs a cleat exchange where used cleats are available for one dollar.

The ball size used is:

U5-U8 Pre-K - 2nd grade Size 3
U9-U12 3rd grade - 6th grade Size 4
