U.S. Soccer Grade 9 Referee Training Class - February 4 & 5

DC Stoddert Soccer is sponsoring a Grade 9 new referee class on the evenings of February 4, and 5, 2015, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, at the Jelleff facility in Georgetown, on "S" Street NW, one block east of Wisconsin Ave NW. Students must attend both sessions.

  • On the list, look for February 4, 2015, NORTH - New Grade 9 Combo class -  ("Combo" means the  course will be a combination of on-line study prior to attending the class, and in-class training.)


A USSF Grade 9 referee is eligible to serve as a center referee for U14 and younger recreational games, and as an assistant referee for any game U14 and younger, which includes serving as a STAR for the NCSL, and WAGS travel leagues.


DC Stoddert Soccer Junior Referee Training Program

The DC Stoddert junior referee program trains boys and girls to referee Under-9 through Under-11 recreational games.

Training for the Spring 2015 season will be held during February and March, 2015, and will include instruction in the classroom and on the field.  There is no cost for this training. 

Boys and girls in the 7th, and 8th grades, who are at least age 13, are welcome to apply by sending an email to Walt Anderson, Director of Referees at referees@stoddert.com
