SPRING 2015 RECREATIONAL PROGRAM REGISTRATION

 

Welcome to DC Stoddert Soccer! We're delighted to provide you with further details pertaining to online registration for the club's spring 2015 Recreational season.

GAME DAYS 

Game dates for the 2015 spring season are all Saturdays: April 11, 18, 25; May 2, 9, 16, 30; June 6, 13. We will not play over Memorial Day weekend.

FEES

The following table describes the registration fees for a single child as well as multiple children from the same family for the spring 2015 season.

SCHOLARSHIP ASSISTANCE

We strive to make our programs inclusive and believe that money shouldn’t stand in the way of any child playing soccer. We offer no-questions-asked, confidential financial assistance for anyone who cannot afford our recreational program.

To request a scholarship:

1. Register your child online through the club's Korrio system

2.  When you reach the payment screen in the registration process, select the “Request Financial Aid” option. Your request will be automatically granted when you complete the registration.

If you can afford to pay a portion of the registration fee, we ask that you contribute what you can afford. At the conclusion of the registration there is an opportunity to make a contribution.

UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT

DC Stoddert Soccer provides a full uniform set to each child that participates in the club's Recreational program each season. The primary point of contact at the club for uniforms is Tom Gross, Director of Recreational Operations & Volunteer Development. Tom can assist with uniform orders, sizing questions and other related inquiries. Feel free to call him at (202) 338-1910 or send an e-mail.

The only required equipment for each player to have for games and training sessions are footwear (i.e. cleats) and shin-guards. To help families with these particular needs, the club holds a cleat exchange each season where used cleats are available for one dollar a pair. The next cleat esxchange is scheduled for Saturday, March 14th at 10am.

TEAM PLACEMENT

·     Returning players who register and pay on or before March 14 will be placed on their team from the previous season unless a change is requested.

·     New players and players wishing to move teams will not be placed onto teams until after March 7.

·     After March 7, returning, new and moving players will be placed onto teams in order of registration date.

ROSTERING

Rosters will be published on March 14. You will not be able to see your team assignment until that date. To see your team assignment after March 14, go to Korrio, our online registration system, at www.korrio.com. Login using the user ID and password you used to register. If you forget your username or ID, click on "lost password" and enter the email address you used to register to retrieve your password.

City FC City Fives! Winter Futsal League Starts Soon
Middle and high school teams begin in January

Online registration for the middle and high school divisions is now closed. Parents may choose to place their son or daughter on a wait list. If and when a slot opens up. parents will be contacted by City FC program staff.

DC Stoddert Soccer and City FC are delighted to announce the third winter season of the City Fives Youth Futsal League! The 2015 City FC™ City Fives Winter Futsal League is a winter soccer program for youth players administered by DC Stoddert affiliate, City FC™. It consists of a weekly one hour futsal session which is broken into a 15-minute technical warm up followed by a 40-minute game. All of the sessions will be led by City FC's experienced coaching staff under the leadership of Roy Kelly, Co-Founder and Program Director.

This year's program is open to boys and girls in grades 5-12. Players must register by grade online in order to participate. The grade divisions are as follows:

Each team will roster a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 12 players, and the parents of the team must identify an adult to serve as game coach to help manage player substitutions.

All seven sessions for the co-ed 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade divisions will be played on weekends in local school gymnasiums. Actual league play will begin during the first week of January 2015.

Please note that the new High School Divisions (U19 Boys & U19 Girls) will be held in the auxiliary gymnasium of Woodrow Wilson High School in Tenleytown on Friday and Saturday evenings.  The high school divisions will feature: 

  • a 3-person referee crew at each game (City Fives Youth Futsal League will comply with all FIFA rules and procedures), 
  • semi-permanent, tournament quality goals, and 
  • team/player statistics kept and posted online weekly

PARTICIPATION FEE

The standard cost is $135 per player. Financial assistance is available to players and families who request support when completing the online registration form.
